This book. This book is absolutely amazing. I have to say its one of my favourite read of this year. So I have read many romances and that’s why when I started with this book I could predict what would happen in the end. But at the same time other than the ending everything was unpredictable.

If you have seen Pretty Woman or if have heard about it (the Julia Roberts movie) then you might feel that the book takes its inspiration from there. It has pretty interesting characters. Stella who has Asperger’s and Michael the hooker she hires.

So now getting upon the plot. Basically as Stella has Asperger’s she has never felt connected to any other human being other than her mom and dad. Yes she has had sex but she has never felt comfortable about it. She wants to change this and she feels what would be better than hiring a person who knows every thing about it and hence comes Michael in the picture.

Stella has a really interesting job. She works in the field of Econometrics in Pap Alto , is super intelligent and loves maths. And you know what Michael loooved when Stella talked intelligently about her love for economics and maths and that made me love Michael all the more . And Michael my friends is a designer(wants to be one but not presently). Isn’t it a really cute coupling happening over here.😍

As the book progresses you realise Michael is half South Asian(I dont remember the country I am sorry)and his family reminds Stella of K dramas.

I really liked the dynamics of this book. How everyone in Michaels family ends up loving Stella even without knowing she is Autistic. And how Michael joins the dotts and comes to the realisation about her condition. We eventually come to know why Michael does what he does and we have to agree he has his own reasons.

The best part was that I loved being in Stellas brain. That her condition though made her different from all other humans , but when I came to think about it aren’t we all humans different and her difference made her all the more amzing. And Michael loved the way her brain worked.

The book is absolutely swoon worthy. The kisses and everything after it will make you swoon badly.😉😏

And you know usually I end up forgetting the characters names(Never the stories , I am just bad at the name thing). But Michael and Stella , these are names I can never forget. You can already see from the blog post how many times I have repeated their names.😅😂

This is Helen Hoangs first book and I have to say it’s a literary masterpiece in Romance Fiction. If you have never read Romance before and want to then its the perfect book for you to pick up.
